School meals are provided by Surrey Commercial Services and are cooked on the premises. A choice of menu is available including a vegetarian option. Fresh fruit and salad are regularly offered. A copy of the current menu is attached.
Dinners may be ordered on a Friday for the following week, and paid for weekly, half-termly or termly. Meals can be paid for online to Surrey County Council and will cost £2.20 per day. Under the Universal Free School Meals Scheme set up by the Government, all Key Stage 1 children are entitled to a free school meal from September 2014.
Children from lower income families in Key Stage 2 may also be entitled to free school meals and if parents register this enables the school to receive Pupil Premium from the Government. With this money the school can provide extra support for these children and help with school trips, after school clubs and musical instrument lessons. Parents who are entitled to the same benefits in Key Stage 1 are also encouraged to register to allow the school to claim for the extra support.
Children who do not wish to have a school meal may bring a packed lunch.
