Tree Planting

As part of Surrey's ambition to be a carbon neutral county by 2050 they have set a target to plant 1.2 Million trees (one for every resident in Surrey) by 2030.

Over the next few weeks Tatsfield Primary School children are helping plant over 300 trees in a designated area next to the school. We hope every child will be able to plant a tree in what will become a new wood in the future.

The trees are all native species including Oak, Cherry, Hornbeam, Field Maple, Wild Service, Small Leaved Lime, Crab Apple, Hawthorn and Hazel.
